Frederick Downtown Drainage Improvement Project

DEI was awarded the Frederick Downtown Drainage Improvement Project project from The Town of Frederick. This project consists of installation of approximately 3,000 l.f. of 36” RCP, 8 type R inlets, 6 manholes and 2 junction boxes. Work also includes 2” mill and overlay of 2,340 s.y. of asphalt paving, erosion control and traffic control.

First Jefferson Green Pavement Rehabilitation

DEI was awarded the First Jefferson Green Pavement Rehabilitation project from First Jefferson Green HOA. This project consists of removing 21,051 s.y. of asphalt, 5,818 l.f. of curb & gutter, 277 s.y. of sidewalk, 190 s.y. of valley gutter and 2,962 c.y. of export and replacement of 3,699 tons of asphalt over 2,962 c.y of aggregate base course, installation of 856 s.y. of concrete pavement, 1,000 s.y. of sidewalk, 1,050 s.y. of valley gutter and 5.577 l.f. of curb. This work will be throughout 8 different parking lots.

Jamestown Pavement Repairs

DEI was awarded the Jamestown Pavement Repairs project by the Town of Jamestown. This project consists of reconstructing pavement on parts of James Canyon, Mill Street, Main Street and Overland Road within Jamestown between flood repair areas (by others). Work will consist of asphalt removal, a boulder wall, roadway culverts, HMA pavement, signing, striping, construction traffic control and gateway markers. The project is approximately 1.9 miles in length.

County Road 34 Turn Lane

DEI was awarded the County Road 34 Turn Lane project by Select Energy Services. Detailed work includes adding a turn lane to CR34 in LaSalle, including cleaning & grubbing, erosion control, 500 c.y. of fill import, installation of 1,000 tons of aggregate base course, 1,500 s.y. of asphalt paving and installation of 100 l.f. of 18” RCP storm system.

Poudre River Storage – LED, LLC

DEI was awarded the Poudre River Storage facility from LED, LLC. This project consists of clearing & grubbing on a 10-acre project site, Site cut & fill, import of 10,000 c.y. of fill material, fine grading site for indoor storage units & outdoor storage units, structural excavation & backfill, tie-in to existing sanitary sewer system, installation of domestic water system and fire hydrants. This also includes Construction of the office building for the Poudre River Storage Facility, and 406 indoor storage units along with recycled asphalt for 250 outdoor storage units. The outdoor storage units will be for RV’s, Boats and Trailer Storage.

Monarch K-8 & High School Renovations

DEI was awarded the Monarch K-8 School Renovations project from the GE Johnson Construction Co. This project consists of renovations for the K-8 school which includes demolition, clearing & grubbing, site cut & fill and export of 100 c.y. of parting lot area, 692 c.y. of common area and 110 c.y. from fitness area, installation of 1,400 tons of aggregate base course, 83,746 s.f. of fine grading, 100 c.y. of structural excavation for building, installation of 50 tons of rip rap and 173 l.f. of 6” – 10” PVC and 24 l.f. of 18” RCP storm pipe.
DEI was also awarded the Monarch High School Renovations project from the GE Johnson Construction Co. This project consists of renovation for the High School which includes demolition, clearing & grubbing, site cut & fill parking lot, excavate and export 1,915 c.y. from ponds B & C, export 2,215 c.y. from tennis courts, install 8,200 tons of aggregate base course, 220,403 s.f. of fine grading, excavate 80 c.y. from press box area, install 400 l.f. of 8” pvc storm pipe, 215 tons of rip rap and modify two structures.

Ecosystem Restoration Phase 1, Cache la Poudre River

DEI was awarded the Ecosystem Restoration Phase 1, Cache la Poudre River project by the US Army Corp of Engineers. Detailed work includes restoration of the Signature Bluffs Natural area including 45 acres of clearing, grubbing and stripping topsoil, 17,000 c.y. of excavation, 12,800 c.y. of export to disposal area, re-grading area and disposal area, reseeding 44 acres and replanting of wetlands area, and installation of aggregate base course trail and boardwalk for public access.
